Have you ever thought about your life? Are you on the go like my family? Do you dread meal planning or wait until the last minute to figure out supper? Awesome! You’re the average American with kids. I’m glad I’m not the only one, so my goal since the first of October, was to not to wait until the last minute to plan daily meals. I’m going to share my strategies I’ve been using with my family.
Meal Themes
- Monday-Meatless Meal
- Tuesday-Mexican
- Wednesday-Breakfast/
- Thursday-Hotdish or leftovers and I make something sweet going into the weekend.
- Friday-Open/Grill
- Saturday-Open/Grill
- Sunday-Crockpot/Instapot
Our family loves to grill even with us living in the Midwest, we still find a way to Grill (garage). I leave Friday and Saturday open for flexibility with the option of grilling. I have been asking my family for requests on Sundays for the upcoming week for meals. They know when they give the idea they get to help with that specific meal. This way they are learning the ropes of the kitchen and learning how to cook, and mom gets help in the kitchen. Thats a WIN for mom!
